Southern Californians are absolutely and unquestionably insane. Despite last months water bill he still insists on watering his lawn with his sprinkler system twice daily. "Frugal" to him is only eating out once daily and I dont even think it would cross his mind to try making his own coffee instead of going to Starbucks. Dont get me wrong, I love the old bastard, in an implied sort of way that should never actually be spoken of between father and son.

I have blisters on my feet from walking barefoot to the beach yesterday, and a ever so slight sunburn from spending hours with the sun beating down on my shirtless body. Right now Im getting paid to dogsit a pleasant and well behaved Australian Shepherd. I cant really complain.
Oh yeah, Ive been drinking bottled water because the water here in San Diego County tastes as if they took sea waterand took out the salt and sand while leaving everything else.

It feels more foreign than Canada, except most people down here dont talk funny, or maybe they do and its the canadians who got it right.

Oh man life is hard. Sure I can have as much fresh squeezed orange juice as I can squeeze, but the problem is exactly that, I have to squeeze it. Pray for my wrists! Ive been pilferring a kumquat and fig tree lately. Today I popped a blister on my foot that probably covered a square inch. In eight more days I will be 21! I plan to stumble down the strip and remain just sober enough to find my way home at closing time. As hard as Ive tried Ive hardly been able to get a sunburn, even though some days Ive spent several hours exposing my skin to near vertical sun rays. Chaney, youd look like a baked lobster if you were in my shoes.

Shouldnt you be in bed still?

Yeah I probably should. Incidentally, I've never had enough patience to lick to the cream sauce, I always end up biting straight through to it.
